These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and One Lamp ("we", "us"). By using the app you accept them. If you do not, please stop using it.
One Lamp is a self-reflection tool. It offers a short evening ritual — washing your hands, lighting a lamp, writing down one wish — and a conversation with an assistant called the Tiger. It is software for thinking, not a service that tells you what will happen.
You can use the free part without an account. Paid features are tied to the identifier stored in your browser. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and browser.
Because access starts immediately and cannot be taken back, we do not refund a period that has already started. If something is clearly broken on our side, write to us within 14 days and we will either fix it or refund the period — our choice, but we will not leave you paying for nothing. See Refunds.
What you write stays yours. We store it so the app can work and so you can come back to it. We do not sell it and we do not publish it. You can ask us to delete everything by writing to the address below.
The service is provided "as is". It may be unavailable, and replies may be inaccurate — that is the nature of software and of language models. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature before your period ends, we will refund the unused part.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
